Yarada Beach nestled amidst lush green hills, enchanting and safe with shallow water, reaching this beach itself can be an exciting trek. One approach route involves a ferry ride across the Port Channel and a trek on the Dolphin Hill. Alternatively, the drive is a 15 km stretch along a ghat road.

Bheemunipatnam Beach, a great place for a one day excursions and family picnics, is a historical beach with ruins of a fort and a cemetery still there, which was once a Dutch settlement. 24 km from Visakhapatnam, this beach is safe for swimming. River Gosthani meets the sea here.
Tip: The Sagarasangamam of river Gosthani and the sea is considered auspicious for a holy dip.
Mangamaripeta Beach is a popular beach located in vicinity of Visakhapatnam. It is believed that the region was under the kingdom of Kalingas and later the beach was used to serve as the promotional centre of Buddhism. The beach is popular for Thotlakonda, a hill embracing a Buddhist complex.
Located at an elevation of 128 m, the complex was discovered by an aerial survey conducted by the Indian Navy. Attracting many nature and adventure lovers, the beach is famous for its natural surroundings and adventurous water sports.
